Hidden Power Board Section
Keep all your power cords safely plugged in and tucked away. With a power board specifically designed for your instuments, with either 10 or 15amp power.
You will only have 1 or 2 power leads that will need to be plugged into the buildings main power.
Cable Management
With safety in mind you will find cable tidy spaces for power leads and tubing througout the bench.
Blum Hardware
High quality soft close hinges and 1 touch door latches. Custom made fitting hardware.
Castor Wheels
Heavy duty, braked, anti vibration 'reflex' caster wheels made in Germany with roller bearings.

SPECIFICATIONS

Roughing Pump Ventilation

Industrial grade, high-static pressure, 7 blade vent and refresh fans.
2 x double ball bearing, 50,000hr, low voltage fans in each roughing pump house. 1 x high mount ventilation fan and 1 x low mount refresh fan moving 488m3/hr through the pump section. This impressive air flow with a low 48.4 dBA rating is a great solution to pump cooling. Australian designed and made temperature controller.

Noise Insulation

Reducing the outward noise of a typical roughing pump by 25dba and having been lab tested to meet FMVSS 302 (Flammability of Interior Materials), meaning it won't burn... the locally made, 3M adhesive, 50mm insulation foam, lining the roughing pump section, is the most advanced on the market and the best product for this purpose.

Anti-Vibration Floor

'Tough', is the best description for the Lab Bench anti-vibration floor in the roughing pump house. 6mm solid aluminium mounted with M10 socket head threaded fixings in a nylock seal. The anti-vibration floor is mounted on 4 rubber bobbins with a 200daN compression load and a 9.8mm shear deflection. Totally adequate for managing pump vibrations.

Steel Frame

Totally welded 316 grade stainless steel frame and threaded castor plates. Made here in Australia the frames are 32mm x 32mm SHS stainless steel with a 1.6mm wall thickness. This construction means there is no deformation in the frame under weight. The artisan Tungsten Insert Gas welded corners provide maximum strength and have been polished back to blend with the stainless grain.
Welded descreetly to the frame are holed, stainless steel panel mount tabs.

Panel Hardware

'Blum' is the worldwide benchmark in cabinet hardware so Lab Bench has incorporated this leading hardware into all benches. CLIP Top, 107 Degree, INSERTA, Full Crank hinges on all doors with adjustable cams on the hinge plate and adjustable TIP-ON, magnetic, push touch latches.

Castor Wheels

Having a fully welded frame the Lab Bench range only needs 4 castor wheels. Benches come with 100mm diameter, cast core, roller bearing, swivel castors. Castors each have braking capabilities and a Hi-Tech polyurethane rubber outer. Two grease points on each castor and a 100mm x 100mm mounting plate. Each caster neatly fits the stainless steel castor plate on the frame and is affixed with 4 M8 socket head threaded fitting and washer. Each castor has a 150kg load rating. This rates each bench at 450kg maximum load.

Cable Management

A Lab Bench range, impressive feature. All the equipment leads run into the power section through the cable management. On the LC benches up to 11 leads in and only one 10Amp lead needs to then plug into the lab supply. On the MS benches your equipment, pump and pc all lead in and only two 15Amp leads need to then plug into the lab supply.
Safe, neat and aesthetic. Much better than external power boards.

Internal Power Section

Benches with power sections all have rated 10/16 Amp, 6kA two module, Residual Current Devices (overcurent, short circuit and earth leakage protection), Two pole 10Amp and 15Amp, 240 volt power outlets, all with Australian approvals, SAA-151653-EA and 1.5mm double insulated coloured leads to stand out in the laboratory, all with dated tags.
A 12 volt transformer is used for the ventilation fans and display lighting. A premium 40watt constant voltage AC-DC waterproof transformer with safe 'plug and play' and AS, SAA-162282-EA certification.
